  1. You can integrate technology into a Physical Education setting by having students use pedometers (step counters),video record students' skills/play, discuss Physical Education topics through blogs, utilize Wiki(class web page), and students can save a everyday workout log on a computer. The teacher can supply pedometers and cam recorder while students can use library computers to access the internet.

    1. These are some great ideas. Now that I have learned about using wikis and blogs I definitely want to utilize them in my Physical Education class. You can use them in so many different ways and I feel like it will keep my students focused and more excited about learning.

  2. One technology that can be used is a blog site. Where you can set it up with information on Jump Rope for Heart. With demonstration videos and website links to other health focuses that you could promote in your school. Having the blog set up allows the parents to see the video and help their children practice at home and cause the family to be more active.

    1. I think having a blog is a great idea to incorporate into my Physical Education class. I like your idea about letting the parents see and get involved with what their child is doing in our class. The more they are interested than the more they will push their child into wanting to learn and participate.

  3. There are some great suggestions already in place for your question. I think blogs and wikis are a great idea. Using pedometers and heart monitors are also a way to integrate technology into Physical Education. I think you can use Wii Fit as a way to use technology. This can help show students how to use technology in PE but also how fun physical activity can be. I think students need physical activity and they want to have fun in PE so this could be a great way to do both.
